A short written, shot, and edited in 48 hours for DC's 48 Hour Film Project. I operated camera for most of the shoot. Won Best Cinematography, plus 2nd Best Film, Best Writing, and Best Acting.

About

Hi, I'm Kevin.

An event filmmaker in Copenhagen. At university I was happiest behind a tripod, filming things I didn't want to forget. Not much has changed.

I started out shooting weddings for free, and the first one hooked me. I hadn't known you were allowed to have fun and get paid for it. Corporate jobs and live events came next, and that's where I found my place: rooms where nothing can be re-shot.

I also studied business at Boston University, which shapes how I shoot. I want to know what an event is for before I arrive, so I'm already in position when the moments that matter happen.

I do

Most of my work happens on event floors, either as the filmmaker handling the whole job or as an extra camera on your crew. I bring my own kit, so you're not budgeting a rental on top.

My approach

Most of my work happens before anyone says action. I learn the room, the light, and the schedule so the camera is already where it needs to be when the moment arrives. On the floor, that means catching the reaction, not just the speech.
